In Spring 2022, we collaborated with the de Young Museum to curate a special collection of clothing in honor of their exhibition Patrick Kelly: Runway of Love.

From bold silhouettes to camp iconography, Patrick Kelly did what many queer Black people have done throughout history: he put a stamp on our culture that can never be lost. We are so honored to introduce his legacy to those who might not know who he is, and celebrate his genius. We are calling this collaboration, a Legacy of Love, and honoring Patrick Kelly’s use of Love as imagery and inspiration.
